Teritoite is an element reprsented by the symbol Tr on the New Periodic Table, an extended periodic table designed by various groups working throughout the known universe to make a complete periodic table with all of the elements from all parts of the universe. It is considered a 'major fuel', and is used by many sovereign states across the entire known universe to power various things. It occurs mainly in large quantities on asteroids, found mainly around the various galactic cores.

Some states close to the galactic cores hold effective 'monopolies', controlling the market of their respective region. States close to the galactic cores also have a convenient way of getting the power needed to refine it easily by using the Galactic Core as a power source, however this is not the case for the Chostvan Soyuz and the other galactic core states in SI-1, also known as the 'Triangulum Galaxy', as there is no black hole that can be used for power. Therefore, less-advanced states close to the Galactic Core of SI-1 are not so lucky when it comes to becoming rich easily, as most do not have the large amounts of power required to become a major producer.

It is also a major power source for Faster-than-Light Drives, as well as Holographic Projectors.
