Earth is a planet home to over one hundred billion Humans, and over ten billion immigrant sentient species. Earth nowadays is a strategic planet in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, and is also considered a major trading hub. It is also unusual in the fact that many nations inhabit Earth, instead of just one nation-state ruling over the entire planet, like on many other planets.
It is also considered the birthplace of the Terran Federal Republic, a nation-state that actually doesn't inhabit Earth, but instead inhabits many parts of the Orion Arm.
